Evangelia University (EU) is approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) to grant degrees under the authority of the California Education Code.

More importantly, Evangelia University is a Candidate member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS; 15935 Forest Rd., Forest, Virginia 24551; 434.525.9539). TRACS is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). A member of TRACS as a degree-granting institution denoted:

  1. EU is a candidate member of TRACS.
  2. EU students can apply for federal financial application and eligible to apply for student loan through federal agency.
  3. EU had the facilities, financial resources, administrative capabilities, faculty, and other necessary educational expertise and resources to ensure its capability of fulfilling the program or programs for enrolled students to the rigorous academic standards of TRACS;
  4. The faculty was fully qualified to undertake the level of instruction to which they are assigned and possessed the degrees or credentials from accredited institutions and had demonstrated professional achievement in the major field or fields offered, in sufficient numbers to provide the educational services;
  5. The education services and curriculum clearly related to the objectives of the proposed program or programs and offered students the opportunity for a quality education;
  6. The facilities were appropriate for the defined educational objectives and were sufficient to ensure quality educational services to the students enrolled in the program or programs;
  7. The program of study for which the degree is granted provided the curriculum necessary to achieve its professed or claimed academic objective for higher education, and the institution required a level of academic achievement appropriate to that degree;
